I suspect they have no interest in us. In cosmic terms we're the equivalent of the house full of crazy people that others cross the road to avoid in case we fling our own shit at them from our vantage point on the roof.

I feel like if aliens had technology that was advanced enough to traverse lightyears very easily they also have the technology to scan and view planets from from far away, and have probably taken a look at us from the comfort of their own homes and thought "nah too risky"

Incredibly unlikely we are alone in the universe, the vastness is incomprehensible.

Likelihood of them not only coming across us by chance, doing a tic tac wiggle, and then buggering off....slim I guess..

I think I would be way more frightened if we were alone as a civilisation that is suspended on this speck of rock, than if we weren't. And if we ever get the chance to meet another, we would be the more hostile!

I could give you some relevance. That is that if I ran Glastonbury and had all the money it needed, I'd have all the music systems at Glastonbury linked together at a particular point in time in the dark of night. Just as they began to play the following song (see below), the biggest, shiniest, shiney industrial, bad ass lights would throw beams up in to the sky.

The holder of the world trademark for 'AREA 51' for clothing is one of the major Hollywood film companies.
