Ghost are doing the inverse (Poland on the Thurs and Sweden on the Sat). There is no good reason to rule Gojira out yet.

Makes me think they are gonna 3rd Main on the Sunday, I believe that was the spot leakers reckoned Pantera were in?

Pantera were never booked for DL according to one of the big leakers on the official forums.

Here’s my latest prediction:

Metallica / Alter Bridge / Halestorm / Clutch / Testament / Mammoth WVH / Trivium (special guest opening set)

Pendulum / I Prevail / Electric Callboy

Hollywood Undead

Ville Valo

Bring Me The Horizon / Architects / Lamb of God / Beartooth / Motionless In White / Fever 333 / Nova Twins

Evanescence / Within Temptation / Asking Alexandria

Simple Plan

Carpenter Brut

Metallica / Five Finger Death Punch / Disturbed / Arch Enemy / Avatar / Skid Row / Municipal Waste

Placebo / Incubus / Three Days Grace

Neck Deep

Periphery

Slipknot / Parkway Drive / Gojira / Behemoth / Jinjer / Ice Nine Kills / Vended

Ghost / The Distillers / In Flames

Alexisonfire

Danzig

Included that Trivium set as I’m trying to will it into existence more than anything.

It's a good shout but I don't see Within Temptation taking that slot. They will be 3rd main/Zippo headliner lowest

Do we reckon Turnstile won't be popping up?

Definitely still possible given current tour dates. Would be incredibly negligent of Download not to book them if they're available.

Chinny said Pantera were booked but pulled out. Which along with his other info I fully believe, I think Download probably offered them third on main / second subs and they had a paddy.

If they were offered there main it would be second headliners not subs.

Sorry yeah meant second headliners, dunno why I wrote that.

I think they expected to open for Metallica, saw that they weren't and bounced. Just a theory. But they still haven't dropped ANY UK dates so I have no clue what's going on.

I'm guessing as well that Download tried lowball them like BMTH multiple times. No way Download didn't try and book Pantera even if it's not really them.

I don't think Within Temptation would be that low. They'll likely be second stage headliners or 3rd down main.

I was thinking this at first, but can also see them just saying "eh whatever" since them and Evanescence have been B2B on their tour together and swapping nightly. Just have them both do an hour and pay them the same.

I wonder if Download are gonna avoid doing an announcement of the announcement this time round. Better to drop a surprise announcement that gets people hyped about the 'surprise' rather than hype people up and then they feel let down when x band isn't announced.
