i agree she'll be gone by xmas. it might be spaffer to replace her, and then an election becomes a possibility.

I've just stuck a few quid on Truss to be gone by the end of the year. I thought she'd be odds-on, but I actually got odds of 11/8.

Hunt wanted New Zealand style Covid camps didn’t he or was that just a smear? Seems a strange choice unless Truss knows she’s toast.

yeah, the libertarian anti lockdown types don't like him, but they have Truss there...Hunt from another part of the party.

Most of them were, although I'm not sure what Rehman Christi was advocating for 😉

Love these news days when you can't keep up with everything going on. Crazy.

The problem the Tories have with the leadership contest in the first place and now these replacements is that virtually all of the MPs have been on record one way or the other across the summer regarding their policy stance, e.g. Jeremy Hunt backing the corporation tax cut, and now he has been appointed Chancellor to... reverse the corporation tax cut. Labour have literally reams and reams of material that they can use in an election campaign to hopefully really nail the Tories' coffins.

    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
