I didn't really want to dredge this up again, but on watching it without the cropping used on twitter, it is quite clear that Patel is sniggering right along with Johnson. (From 1 min onwards).

I wish I hadn't watched that. Like I wasn't angry enough already. Patel literally moves to get the camera time when Boris starts replying. She looks straight down the lens.

And total avoidance of the topic being discussed.

The problem we have is that the vast majority of their voters don’t even watch the daily news about what they are doing. They just read the headlines in the red tops and ignore the rest.
