These are basically your options. Green is along the fence and then through the car park for a bit (that's how I walked from PGA to PGD previously). Blue is in through Gate A and out of Gate D. If Gate A is still rammed at midday and the zig-zags are full both sides (coach and car parks), then going against the flow might be tricky (though I seem to remember a contra-flow for those going out), however, no easy access via Gate A in that case as you would need to join the zig-zag queues to get in anyway (personally I'd go put my tent up, have a beer and get my festival wristband later when I didn't have to queue for ages). Option in that case is the red line (head over towards the box office, hang a right after the box office (avoids the zig-zags), through hospitality car park and then along the path over to Gate D). -

Last post from me until we go on the cruise tomorrow, but someone in my family is a completely unhinged psychopath! Toilet roll should be over and not under! If anyone doesn’t hear from me by Monday send out a search party 😂 It’s happened on more than one occasion so I don’t feel safe with the toilet roll bandit 😂😂😂 -

Can’t remember exactly but quite a while - I’d been looking all sort of fancy solutions but this worked well. The giant ice cube was a 2ltr container obviously not full of water so it could expand when frozen. Empty cool bag in freezer for a day or so before hand. Popped out massive ice cube added items- the big ice cube limited capacity a bit. Topped up gaps with bag of ice before I set off. So stuff does end up swimming about in very cold water. The decathlon cool bag has a padded inner lid you can wedge down as you use items. Limited how many time I opened it during the festival. But scrunched up space blanket inside once there was more space & kept it in the tent under another space blanket with cool bag on the grass. My intention was to buy more ice if needed, but didn’t bother.
