it certainly can be done .. ive had resale before and got the old (now defunct ) secret mini ones .... its a toughie .. didn't sleep the night before and spent last night with my head going round in circles with the options ... bus has now become a possible never ever considered in the past ... an option for you ?

Thanks for the positive message. Gives me hope! I've been having the glasto dreams too! I like going in our campervan but you know what would I rather? Glasto or no glasto? Easy choice.

A mate got to the page where you have to enter registration and postcode details, but it froze when he clicked proceed. Does the postcode have to have gaps in the correct places??

Exact same thing happened me unfortunately ☹️

Also checking in :(

I'm not holding out much hope for (but will be trying in) the resale so I'm already taking the view that committing to volunteer is the safest way forward, but I'm not holding out much hope either for being able to volunteer as I believe that's also heavily subscribed. The wait until April is going to be agonising... ?

We also missed out, so gutted, but we’ll give the ballot and the resales a shot. I’m in NZ, there’s two of us so happy to help everyone else too ?

we’ve been so excited about this, a trip to look forward to after a tough few years for both of us, back to our old stomping ground full of the best memories we’ll ever have, knew getting tickets was a long shot, but the disappoint is intense ?

Hate to admit it but I'm in the resale boat with the rest of you all! Stress really got to me about not being able to go next year but I seem to have calmed down a fair bit.

Was hoping to fly over from Australia and have it be the start of my travels.

However, come resale week, if anyone would actually be able to help get me a ticket, I'd be more than happy to pay for your entire ticket as well :)

7k! 12k! Yikes. I love glasto but not ruining myself (financially anyway!) for it! I'd love to but that's just not viable. It's amazing how much cash some people have, though perhaps it's been a dream for them and they've saved up? Still seems an inordinate amount of cash to me. Perhaps I'll buy a lottery ticket....

April. Come on April!

In other news. Woke up thinking about Glastonbury. Again!

Me too, still in shock really and can’t quite believe I failed, trying to stay positive but it’s hard.

Really hope it happens for you.

Anyone know if worthy view is possible with a ticket in the resales? I imagine it will be all sold out by then.

This year there was a Worthy View resale at 11am on the same Sunday as the main ticket resale, and it seemed like there were lots of tents available (although mainly scout tents).

I’m getting a single ticket just so I’d be happy to help

Ta, it's appreciated. It's a bit of a kicker isn't it. Still, hopefully we're all happy and healthy so fundamentally it's all good. I'd love to go but I don't lose sight of the fact that I'm incredibly fortunate to have been able to get tickets for the last few glastos and to be in the position that I am able to afford to go.

Fingers crossed we'll all manage to go again (come on April!)

Greeting's fellow resalers.

Not new to the forum, but an irregular poster definitely.

Had a mare this year. A helper got through for the coach sale but didn't copy and paste from the spreadsheet and put things in wrong. By the time it was rectified, they'd gone. Still, it was nice to have people helping.

If anyone is considering Oxfam, I can only add another voice to the positivity chorus. They are a lovely bunch, and you do see the festival in a new light. I currently live in Singapore though and finish work on the Friday before, so it makes the combination of jet-lag and a 7 day festival difficult.

Mine froze both at that point and at the point where you have all the names and addresses on screen in little boxes with the word 'deposit' selected under each one - spent a good 10 mins trying to stop and submit that page. It was very poorly this year.

Checking in for resale club after avoiding efestivals for a couple of painful days. Have been a member since 2014 but more of a lurker. Have missed out in tickets since 2016. Never actually tried for resales as I have normally moved on to other things by the spring but I want to keep my head in the game this year

I would be quite keen to volunteer as I think I would really enjoy the working side but a bit worried that I would spend the downtime wishing that I was with a group. Unfortunately I don’t think my group are willing to work it as well.

Anyway, good luck to everyone in ballots, comps and resales.

First time member of the resale club here. So, in one respect I am lucky that I’ve managed to go in previous years.

Looking for tips! When it comes to the sale, does anyone start madly refreshing before 9am? I start bang on 9am and I dunno if that’s my problem as by that point I’m maybe already out the game.

I have been successful in the resales a few times and last year my cousin got through for me after I spent Oct to April in Resale 2019 thread, this year we tried for coach from Brizzle as I could not face losing out Sunday without giving the coach a try as well.  Thankfully got them

Happy to help come next April - having been in resale club numerous times

do they hold back any campervan tickets? I can only go if I can get hold of one of those ( taking small kids with me). I know people do it but I just couldn't relax in a tent with my kids after some of the things I have seen.

There will be plenty available during and after the resale.

    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
    • Maybe some right wing leaders like Meloni are just playing to their base, like Reform have been here talking about them ending up at Calais.
    • Citizenship via investment programs basically work by saying if you invest this much in our economy (say buy a property worth x) then we will either grant you citizenship or residency with a route to it. The EU has rules on how low countries can set the bar. Montenegro was one of the easier ones to get and they've had to tighten it up.
