Skelts
I’d take 2019 every year, no question. Especially after discovering Lost Horizons?

I never understand the wails about dust- you'd think that if it's dry the festival is subject to some sort of saharan sand storm. All you have to do is squint your eyes when a vehicle is passing and you're fine.

I get hay fever, so it is for me. I always welcome a bit of rain during hot festivals as it really helps wash away the pollen. Plus it freshens up the dry atmosphere. Mr.Tease
2010 was better than the near perfection of 2019,merely because I think 2010 was a drier heat and thus less energy sapping. 2019 was lovely though--cloudy for queuing at the gates, a coolish breeze for much of the festival, no rain and lots of sun. We got very lucky
sime
I found 2019 hard work until Sunday. It was nice that it was dry. But I suffered a fair bit with the oppressive sunlight and some allergies. Still, looking back, it was pleasant enough. I just found it tricky at times. Ayrshire Chris
Got to be this year. Queuing and setting up in 2017 was torture but worth it for the rest of the festival. This year wasn’t half as bad and cooler on the Wednesday.
oneeye
Even though 2010 (dust) and 2017 were perfect dryness I actually enjoyed 2014 weather more, it had a bit of everything including an impressive lighting storm (good photos). I actually like a little rain....
Matt42
Did it rain at all in 2017? Can someone with a better memory help me out because I remember it being a dry one. Edited August 11, 2019 by Matt42
Gnomicide
2010 was spot on, glorious throughout and didn't feel.as energy sapping as this year but maybe that was just cos I'm 9 years older.

Rained Sunday when Slaves were on and at least one night, can't recall which day but definitely a little bit as I was walking back to my tent at around 2am. stuartbert two hats
I wish I'd gone further back. On reflection, I think I preferred 2009 to all of them.
stuartbert two hats
Sod it, I've added 2009.
gigpusher
2017 was perfect from Thursday onwards.
pahqman
I'm going to say 2015 as there was that bit of rain early on the Friday and then perfect from there on out. Gave a mini taste of what a drenched festival could be without being too awful and long lasting.

Curlygirl
Give me 2010 every year!! I don't ever recall being too hot to party then, but this year (especially Saturday) felt very stuffy. Maybe it's as Gnom says, we're 9 years older.
dotdash79
This year was spot on, cloudy on the first morning to allow for set up and heat rising up to the Saturday Sunday and Monday perfect for a rest and breakdown of the tent. Little Andy
All 3 of us who went this year really suffered with the weather, it was arguably the toughest of all 5 I've been to (obviously 2016 was tough for very different reasons). Seems like it depends if your body can handle it
majormajormajor
This year was pretty much bang on as far as I'm concerned. Bright, hot, tent somehow wasn't prohibitively hot until after 10am. Nice breeze the whole time.
