It's deffo a weird poster, not sure what's their marketing team doing. This is just pure speculation but maybe there were supposed to be only 2 main stages, 1 smaller outdoor stage and BBC Introducing stage (as someone suggested a few months back) and they scrapped the idea after Boris' announcement? I'm really curious how it turns out even though I'm not going...

Neck Deep would play fourth down on either Main Stage, I think.

The tent has atmosphere, the main stage at 3pm doesn't for a DJ really. Major Lazer played way later like sunset or night time. Plenty of time for artists to move around still

Lets see I guess, would definitely be a new thing for R&L and i'd personally prefer dance acts kept in the tents (and better dance acts than MK haha) but if it means bigger dance acts can be booked I wouldn't be totally against it

That looks really dull to me but then again it isn’t aimed at me. I think that acts like that on a Main Stage of that size works at Creamfields because that audience is there. Similarly, it’s why a band like Kreator can headline Bloodstock; because that audience is there. I don’t think enough of R&L would be stoked for MK for him to play a stage that size. Plenty of people would rather watch a hip hop option, or an indie option or a rock option. Then again, who knows? Fwiw, I think the Dance Stage will remain due to that Solardo comment.

He's pulled a good crowd but the atmosphere looks dead to me. Can definitely see R&L doing this at least as a test in the future but I can't imagine too many people would stick around if it was pissing it down on a Sunday afternoon

Not sure if it's been discussed but Nova Twins are main stage so that's Stormzy, Sports Team, Catfish, Nova Twins, Post Malone, Disclosure, Liam Gallagher, KSI, QOTSA. 

I'd assume that Mabel, AJ Tracey, Two Door, Doja Cat, The Wombats, Dababy, Gerry Cinnamon, Charli XCX & Yungblud will be too and I reckon we'll get 10 acts a day on the two main stages which will leave us with 12 more acts to be announced for the main stages, 4 each day. Unless some acts I haven't mentioned play the main stage e.g. Neck Deep, Beabadoobee, Sigrid etc.

Where does it say nova twins are main stage mate? I would of had them down to be in the pit to honest

They posted on Instagram on 22nd March about playing R&L main stage, I've only just seen in today and thought the exact same. Expected them to be high up on the pit too.

Ah ok I must of missed that to, I'm wondering if there will be a pit stage now as not  sure who else would be on there, as if nova twins are main I would imagine fever 333 will be main stage to and neck deep

I expect Gallows, Fever 333 and Neck Deep to be headlining the the pit. I’d also expect Ashnikko and Hot Milk on the pit. All could go on the main stage but I think Gallows and Ashnikko would be a strange main stage bookings.

How strange, not many main stage places left then by the looks and that’s another expected pit stage act not on the pit. Would be a shame to lose the pit

I was thinking the same about gallows to be honest they don't seem like a main stage booking, Fever 333 would be a good pit headliner as planned to see them last year , neck deep would be awsome to 🙂

I get Loyle Carner but I couldn’t see Jorja Smith at R&L. Can’t see any of those names at APE appearing at R&L though. Maybe Mahalia as she was meant to play 2020.

Jorja Smith is huge with teenagers, probably one of the biggest UK singers. If there was an R1 I could see her headlining it
