It's actually completely different to the Editors thing because that's the strange case of a band being bigger in a country that isn't their home (Placebo too). UK bands being big on UK festival lineups shouldn't be a surprise at all. It's more like dEUS or Soulwax.

Not totally accurate to be fair, molko was born in Belgium and the Stefan born is Sweden. Even the original drummer was Swedish.

What I said is totally accurate. Brian Molko was born to a Scottish mother (yes in Belgium), Stefan Olsdal gained citizenship in 2018 after 25 years here (yes after being born in Sweden). That's all beside the point I was making and I dunno why you're picking at it but yeah, they are both British people.
