The only ones from those line ups I've seen is Diamond Head, supporting Metallica at MK Bowl in 93.  I think they had reformed just for the gig, presumably at Lars' request.

I genuinely think all these old boys deserve a showing. Not necessarily prime time on the Pyramid for the likes of Saxon or The Tygers of Pan Tang, but there's surely space somewhere.

The band have never really broken up (well at least not since the early 90s), they tour the UK every 2-3 summers and play stadiums or big outdoor gigs every time. They sell out slower/less since Richie left though.

I saw Judas Priest when I was 15 (god know why, never a fan) and what I remember most was the band (or possibly just Halford) coming on stage from below, on little lifts, like Windy Miller at the start of Camberwick Green.

I appreciate this isn’t a reference everyone on here will get.

Cancelled a gig in Dublin with about 3 days notice(along with the rest of the EU tour), didn't go down well. He burst a blood vessel in his eye from coughing too much. What id love to know is why, at his age, he was planning on doing 3 gigs a week from now until june.
