gabrielomachado
it's a good lineup TBH, except for Kiss but i know the 'last tour' thing i expect to Five Finger Death Punch and Alter Bridge to show up when their tours are over, and Judas NEEDS to sub Iron Maiden
gabrielomachado
Iron Maiden subbed by Judas with Saxon in 4th or 5th down would be a hell of a way to celebrate 40th anniversary of Monsters Of Rock
justanothername
Do we know what day Deftones are playing yet? If they were subbing SOAD, I'd consider a day ticket

Spiral_Low
Iron Maiden and SOAD plus Korn, Deftones, Offspring, Disturbed and Gojira! Very happy with those. Plus I predicted all of them
stereomike2020
I think that it is a good lineup. Not keen on Kiss myself, but they do obviously have their own fans. Iron Maiden and SOAD are good headliners, and the supporting lineup is pretty good too (Korn, The Offspring, etc.) Also, I expect a lot more acts to be added across the weekend. They were badgering Reading to let them headline on twitter not so long ago, so probably gave first shout to them over Download. Iron Maiden are doing two homecoming festivals according to the site. Disturbed on SOAD day would be interesting, I see no reason to hold Volbeat back though. I don't think it's gets close to RAR atm.

Foo Fighters, RHCP etc would surely have been better than the same old drivel? Green Day are unavailable and it doesn't look like Foos will be around. All three of this year's headliners are bigger than BMTH, Alter Bridge and A Day to Remember. The difference between Korn subbing and headlining the Sunday instead of System would be twenty minutes or so? No biggie. Red Hot Chili Peppers and Blink-182 would have stunk up the place. It'd be nice to see some new names top of the bill but it wouldn't matter when you've got boots (more likely wellies) on the ground, listening to Mark butcher their back catalogue or Anthony look like he'd rather be anywhere else.

Even I think Korn would have mixed it up a bit though, as people have said both SOAD and KISS are just repeat bookings with nothing new. Aye it woulda been something different, but just don't see any real reason for outcry when they're still in a prominent position on the bill. We had a first timer last year tho remember! Ozzy . Avenged Sevenfold, Rammstein and Aerosmith for 2021.
