Don't get me wrong, they're a decent band but size wise you'd expect bigger as a first announcement going off the bands they've had at the top of the bill since it's started.

Have they been confirmed as a headliner?

Well there are way worse options out there tbh, they are at least a decent band.  On the other side I do not think of them as some massive headliner band.

If you look at the 2018 tab on there they have 12 bands listed as headliners including Massive Attack and Dua Lipa, so I wouldn’t read too much into it just yet.

Would seem strange for them not to coheadline, but if it’s as strong as last years maybe they could be sub/third down.

The National is a good band but I honestly think that the National is not a band that should be announced by three hints a week earlier. They have already attended Nos Alive, Primavera, Best Kept Secret, Lollapalooza Berlin and many more. I hope the hints continue today like last year so that we will learn 3 artists before the weekend.

They played Latitude in 2016. Looks like the headliners this year are George Ezra, Lana Del Rey and Snow Patrol.

Alt J played in 2015 and 2018. If it wasn't for those rumours I would have said they could have played.

According to Wikipedia these are the bands that are formed in 2002. I eliminated the ones that are not on tour or more towards pop like One Republic
