Where have the New Order stories come from? Is that their own day? Personally I would have them subbing the Chems, would that be too strong a day?

They’re of similar stature to the Chems, surely? 

Either way they’re a lot bigger than the subs last year, so yeah would’ve been too strong. 

I think if it were New Order they’d have been done last week. Reckon it’ll be Kraftwerk alongside Blue Dot.

Next year is going to bankrupt me. I have heard they are doing festivals next year. 

I don't think they are as big as the Chems any more and with them working with the Chems quite a lot over the years, don't think they would be too egotistical about subbing them. They are also big friends with the Primals and Bobby has sang on New Order records. They have name checked Hot Chip as one of their fave newer electronic type bandsplus Bernard and Stephen did a tune with Hot Chip. They are probably too big really to sub but that day would be absolutely perfect for me.

I think they will do Kendal rather than Bluedot personally but I am usually always wrong.

The Latitude info is defo stronger than the APE info.

The APE info came from me. My mate's mate who's in a band (not a big band - they've played a few festivals like Tramlines, Bearded Theory and Rize tho) apparently got told by their booking agent that The Strokes are headlining APE. I've never met the guy and have no idea why their booking agent would tell them that unless they were also being booked for it, which I imagine they weren't as surely he'd have said that part too, lol. After me saying that on here it kinda got taken as gospel that they'd be playing. I even said a few weeks back that I feel like it's not gonna happen (although that was mainly as they hadn't announced anything yet).

The Latitude info was from @Mezhyp1who's had good info in the past and wouldn't bullshit us.

If The Strokes do end up still doing APE, I expect it to be in addition to Latitude, as I don't think Mezhyp will be wrong.
