So Biffy and RATM nailed along with LG. Has to be a rap headliner for the last, probably to co with LG or Biffy

I know he’s done Glasto as a headliner but could Stormzy be named a co/head based on the fact he’s touring the UK 2 weeks after..

Cant remember but I think an artist did it early

I know the initial announcement of the headliners was made on the radio, as said more acts would be announced later that day, but I think it was The 1975's manager that leaked the initial poster before that later announcement. But the next announcement after that with Royal Blood etc, I thought the Poster was leaked on here, but I may be remembering it wrong, I know someone was giving clues like "One of the subs is an act with 2 words in their name and a total of 10 letters", then the poster was leaked. It may of been @Dan Wilcox, or I am just remembering it all wrong

Let another festival announce rage as an EU exclusive as a way to bamboozle people before revealing they'll do R&L, loophole to get out of false advertising and would be a genius move

Yes that would be a pretty smart move

God I hope not, then the real fans won’t all get in, will ruin the atmosphere.  If there is a golden circle it should have been on sale from the very beginning

The way they had it last year with the new barriers was perfect IMO.

Can't see a camping festival with golden circle, especially when their new method worked so well.

Take this as you will, but a legit insider in the Rock Werchter thread said "RATM simply don't seem to be touring Europe in 2020".

At the time that June festivals were booking their lineups this was the case.

    • i never got my EUR 15 back from Wet Leg - anyone else? Not the worst thing to have happened this occurrence like but another small thing that I thought was a bit poor.
    • Stonewall IPA for sure last year and another Brooklyn one I think (at least in one of the bars) - Defender maybe. Shame the craft beer van wasn't there last year but the options are much better than they used to be.
    • First outdoor gig of the season for me last night. David Byrne in a soaking wet St Anne’s Park. Absolutely spectacular (didn’t expect anything less to be fair!). If you get a chance to catch him on this tour, don’t hesitate. At least half the set were Talking Heads classics. Marvellous all round (ok, I’ll let him away with the song about how much he loves his apartment😁).  IMG_1177.dng
