A - coming out well early - for gigs that in Sept and onwards next year

B - more of them seem to just name the city and not the venue 

everyones trying to get your money before it runs out. And a lot of festivals are going to start their rollouts much earlier than normal. And yes, everyone thinks its genius to just name cities and no venues. They want engagement one way or another. Because if you see the venue and you dont like it then you dont sign up for presales. If you have to look it up and then figure it out then youre sitting on their website for an extra minute.

Just seen for the Lenny Kravitz gig. Firstly it's between £85 and £97 for standing...and even if you select the top seating price you're still in the upper tier. I like him but not that madly.

Got on priority at 9am for Limp Bizkit. £90 standing. Couldn't pull the trigger. The great gig crash is coming.

The last of those three is the day before Heaton Park night 1, with Heaton Park likely having one extra support than the others, as doors open quite a bit earlier, so they could be on just Manchester?

Yeah it's just not justifiable. Obviously it makes despite the weather having seen them overall at Download more cost worthy but the cost of one outprices the cost of another.

Could be. I wasn't bothered about Blossoms but I guess they could be added actually later with Blossoms having dates to sell

I think it's just so many coming at once, the crash would be if the likes of Sam Fender didn't sell out immediately.

Had priority code for Lionel Richie this morning.  £140 to £170 for tickets.  f**k that.  I expected it to be around half of that.  Mrs 4AM is a huge fan and even she said that was unjustifiable.  I can't see that selling out at those prices, surely?

I'd like to blame Oasis for this. even if its not their fault. ESPECIALLY if its not their fault! They seem to have normalised £150 tickets, and everyone's in on it now. 

 

My hard £100 limit is going to need a review one of these months ☹️ Still havnt paid it, and dont want to at all. The Slipknot gig i'm off to in December seemed like a bit of a bargain at £70 but now i'm told its an album show, and they just play the album, its about 65 mins, so no pretend encore and then a whole load more songs like every other album show i've been to - nope, just album and then off.

So that explains the 'cheap' price at £70 then. Sucks.

My hard limit is about £65 which means twickets is my agent lol. £130 for Oasis was purely down to my unwillingness for some reason not to give up and sit there while a website doesn't even work for 2hours. 5 hours in you kind feel if you fold now what was it for.

 

When you are getting prices like 65/70 for papa roach and 60 for sum 41. 90 for LB is just purely taking the piss the ticket market for me in untenable.
