I know. One of the 70 acts they've announced as a taster of the five day fiesta of music, cabaret, comedy and art installations has really taken the shine off....

Not my point at all. Just unnecessary, a waste of money and a slot.

Shaggy is the novelty act that we all thought Craig david was going to be.

Which worryingly means Craig David won't be.

Seems unfair. Craig David's latest record when Gold and pulls in big crowds across the country.

Shaggy, however, will surely be given the East 17 treatment and end up on a Silver Hayes stage on Thursday night, no?

You're gonna flip when you get around to googling Kurupt FM.

haha, fully aware. I just can't believe people would actually go stand and watch that stuff. Each to their own.

I saw Craig David last year and he was a novelty act that was trying desperately not to be a novelty act.

In my opinion it was a shambles. But i'm sure plenty of people loved it.

I wont be seeing him again.

Mildly grouchy at work, but the "This is meant to be one of the best music festivals in the world" kinda makes it sound like that.

And waste of money and a slot?  If there are people watching him and enjoying it, they'll probably disagree with you.

I wonder how muddy it gets in Festival Site, Morocco.

There's loads of stuff on the poster that I don't like (the fucking Courteeners for a start) but I won't grizzle about it like some collossal baby, I'll just be somewhere else.

Everyone I've spoken to in various groups of friends who are going have said they'll be there, clash dependent. Hoping for afternoon on West Holts as opposed to late in Sonic or somewhere crap like that. Could even potentially do a very early Pyramid slot? Would have the novelty pull and recognisable tunes of a Rolf Harris without, you know, the noncing part.

I'm talking nonce sense

This is meant to be one of the best music festivals in the world and they've not only booked Shaggy, but announced him among the first 70 or so acts. Boring.

First 70 aren't always the biggest hitters though, it's a general mash of the main stages
