Just watched. Surely she's the GOAT Hot Ones guest after that? Didn't even flinch at Da Bomb, no sips of water, turning the interview round and interviewing Sean. Pure hero.

Paul Rudd will take some beating for that crown

Dax Shepard, Halle Berry, Dua, and Zac Efron are also all up there! Probably my favourite YouTube show, Sean Evans is an absolute treasure.

Guy Fieri didn’t touch the sides!

Can't believe Lorde reads this thread...

“I haven’t made a Jack Antonoff record,” the singer said. “I’ve made a Lorde record and he’s helped me make it and very much deferred to me on production and arrangement. Jack would agree with this. To give him that amount of credit is frankly insulting.” She called the narrative — which has also included speculation about the pair’s romantic and sexual life — “retro” and “sexist.”

Already on Apple Music. Kind of a hybrid of the first two songs although with more of a chorus. Decent but still not an out and out earworm. I fear for this album causing any momentum she had coming out of Melodrama to flatline, if these three are the most radio-friendly tracks on it.

Songs ‘ight. I know it’s been apparent for a while now that this is the direction the whole album’s gonna be going in but I still get a bit bummed when none of these songs pop off. Definitely more of a smoke weed and chill album than a get fucked up and dance one.

Meh. Her academy tour has almost completely sold out so she seems to have done alright so far. Might mean she's not projected to go onto being a Glastonbury headliner or stadium filler but I doubt anyone harboured hopes of that still.

Plus she's a shoo-in to top the charts with this album, unless beaten by Dave's fourth week sales or the new Jake Bugg album. If Jake Bugg charts ahead of her, I promise you I will be insufferable.

This ‘intimate tour’ next May would work better as a tour of beaches at the end of August. ‘End of the summer’ vibes everywhere.

She is touring some pretty summery ampitheatres. Just not in the UK.

But what about Donda

Fuck sake. The O2 monopoly is such a piss take.

Although to be fair, not sure what venues like that the UK even has. Scarborough Open Air Theatre, maybe.

Yeah I think it's just that and the stage they put up by the tower in Blackpool.

This fucking country man.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
