Surely not?!

Probably not, I can just see her really honing in on Solar Power with this tour. I can't quite remember who it was, but I remember seeing a band who just released a new record that was a major departure from their previous, and their setlist was entirely the new album, and a one song encore of just one of the previous hits.

Although I can see Lorde going new album heavy, you have to be pretty confident that your new album is insanely good (especially coming after an album like Melodrama) to pull something like this off or it’s a sure fire way to piss off the people coming to see you, even if you are saying the tour is more ‘intimate’ which is often used as an excuse to showcase new stuff.

I still think there’ll be a smattering of old stuff, but like said above, perhaps rearranged to fit the new sound (although hopefully not ‘cause Green Light needs to go off).

Headlining PS does suggest there will be plenty of hits and bangers in there. If the tour was just these smaller shows then it's one thing, but if you're playing bit slots at festivals as well you're almost obliged to round out your setlist more. Unless you're The National.

Yep, starts at 10. Although “invalid code” is giving me palpitations after the Worthy Farm stream!

Lol I'm so eager. I don't think I'm going to get these tickets but might as well try

I'm sure we'll be fine, mate. As long as you're on the ball and have the code, it'll be no problem I'm sure.

Worst presale ever for me (got a ticket then got thrown into a waiting area after ticking the not a bot box which then meant the ticket was gone once I got out of it) but managed to get a Thursday Roundhouse ticket after refreshing for 8 minutes!

Looks like a Friday date has been added too.

FFS that's really annoying! I'm having to really fiddle about with my holidays to make the Thursday one work, and then she adds a Friday one 😂

Yes and after various refreshes nothing changed. My page didn't change at all.

Mate get on the Friday one now - tickets up!

    • No worries, it's a perfectly fair question to ask. I would expect people to be talking at the back & near the bars & that is where I would want them to be talking. If your group are enjoying yourselves & the music & briefly chatting to say how much you are loving a certain song etc, you would be an ideal group to stand behind.   My issue is with people having full blown conversations (usually unrelated what is on the stage) whilst being surrounded by people who are trying to listen to the music. This was happening in the middle and towards the front of all stages, & so you have limited options to move around & you may have spent 20 minutes waiting for the band trying to get the closest position that you can. If there's a group of 8 people, there may be 2 or 3 that like the band & the rest will start talking if the music isn't their thing. This may be the norm now for festivals, and if it is, that's ok & I will focus on a band's own gigs & UK based new music festivals.    I'm also not including consequences of my own decision making. I saw Geese on Wednesday so went to Occident after Men I Trust finished so it was understandable there would be chatting that far back. Similarly, getting to The XX after Olivia Rodrigo along with most of the site, I knew my chance of a good spot & a chat-free zone had gone so that was completely reasonable.   PS. I went to Bilbao BBK in 2023 & 2025 & enjoyed it. For Pulp & Kylie in 2025, I got a position early & was surrounded by a respectful & fun crowd for both. The UK non-headlining bands tend to go on the undercover 3rd stage, & most people like to congregate outside so you can usually get close to the front of that stage.
    • Interview on 6 music earlier, was going to get the album to have a listen, but comes out the day they play the festival
    • Additional dates added already
    • I feel like it's not COMPLETELY beyond the realm of possibility that they could headline but I just don't see it.    They're not doing anything other than headlining. So nah, I don't see it.
    • Consider that the sound quality can be better near the front bars right behind the soundbooth rather than closer to the stage, like with mbv. And of course, the front sections are full of talkers too.   The most courteous move would be to have conversations in the very back of the field.
