Lisa Hannigan has announced shows for the Friday (Brighton) and Saturday (Bristol), all but confirming that her set will be on the Sunday.

hmmmm ... I'll avoid updating that one, just in case she's squeezing two shows in on the Saturday.

No idea whether or not it's true, but I think someone mentioned a few years back that they're actually involved behind the scenes in the set up of soundsystem at The Blues, so probably will show up there as well.

ahhh, you could be right. I didn't even think about over there, tho I did think think "they're not on the Silver Hayes poster so they're not at Silver Hayes" - which doesn't necessarily hold true anyway.

they've played at The Blues once or twice each day (Fri/Sat/Sun) for the last 2 years at least (probably longer than that too), so you can almost guarantee they'll be playing there each of those days again this year.

they've also played Heaven and The Cave in the last 2 years too.

More on Roni Size, touring New Forms live this summer

I'm one of those that whilst not a regular 'user' (you're only too aware of my electronic musical poison...), can really lose myself in a bit of quality D'n'B sometimes.

I could see New Forms Live at Glastonbury as a bit of a seminal moment.

Where do we think they'll play? - needs to be dark, dirty and sweaty...

I was just going to come on here and suggest how brilliant Reprazent would be on Hell!

:P

We stumbled into Hell Saturday/early Sunday in 2014...the TBC was Roni Size. Was one of my highlights of that year

Roni Size being announced I could take or leave, but the prospect of New Forms has nudged Mr Size up the pecking order a good bit for me.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
