the fisherman's friends in to the bootleg beatles last year in the acoustic was exceptional.

One of my favourite ever runs at Glasto.

Patti Griffin - Fishermans Friends - Bootleg Beatles.

Got close for the Bootlegs for once and missed the rain!

Somehow managed to get in the tent for this and it was indeed excellent - was stoked that they got a decent Thursday slot rather than their usual pretty much guaranteed to be missed Sunday morning slot. Hoping they return on the Thursday again this year

Tempted to go Bedford you services these, it's only £13 a ticket and close. Chances of me getting in the WG tent is rare.

tried to get an update on bootlegs info, but its not forthcoming.

Darn it.

A non-clashy (I.e. Not headlining a smaller stage) would be great, ideally.

Info. being 'withheld', Neil, or just not there?

They play with a mini (and I mean mini) orchestra anyway, so they can still do a pretty decent stab at things like A Day in The Life and I Am the Walrus.  The band leader even has a piccolo trumpet for Penny Lane.

And they do the outtake version with the trumpet outro too. Always thought they should've left that in.

I was agreeing with you. I normally don't. (We have different tastes in music - it's no crime). That's all I was saying. By lawks, you're defensive.

He is a rag, thats how they all are.

I'm very aware you usually don't, but you point out for once....it's a bit like paying a nice comment and taking it away/being sarcy at the same time. I have no issues with you having different tastes in music than me, I'm sure we would listen to each others ipod for 3 songs on shuffle before deciding against more haha.

Defensive nah!....

    • Really thought 2025 was going to be the year,  but alas we wait
    • Playing a bit of devils, isn't that the case for any act? If you csn get a bigger sub or or 3rd etc the next will play lower. Tbh they would probably be best headlining second so in the kinda in between slot, that would be better. Get GC on second and Avril on main subbing Friday for Blink. But I'd expect it would be Avril sub and GC second another day.
