Thought I'd give it a go. More a mixture of what I'd like and whats available than anything else. Few I doubt will happen but a guy can dream right?

Got Circa Waves on twice, on JP friday and Other saturday. Also Blossoms wouldn't be playing that low down on JP on Friday. Boy Better Know and Stormzy are down for Other stage on Saturday too.

That text cursor in Dizzie Rascal is really bothering me.

As do the footnotes that refer to non-existent points in the main text.

And Bonobo in Kraftwerk's place.

No no no!

That Bonobo slot is perfect.

Best sound system for him, finishing slightly earlier than Pyramid/Other and geographically giving me a head start to get into the Temple until 0500h on Monday morning. Bloody perfect, that is!

It would be, if it wasn't occupied by some Teutonic robots.

Bonobo is my third preference for that slot. After my autobahn loving friends and Ms Godwhatshernamedottir.

Bracing myself for a JP headline slot for Bonobo to be honest, Benjamin.

NOOOOOOO!

Actually, I could take Bonobo in JP as long as he was headlining. Sound in the new tent was pretty good - that would be my main concern. The sound for James Blake at WH last year was stellar and the thought of Migration belting out through that system is very appealing.

Have you seen Kraftwerk?

I saw them headline Latitude with their 3D show. The sound was incredible. The 3D projections were cool and definitely added to the experience. The songs were perfectly rendered. Their place in the pantheon of incredibly important and influential artists is assured. Much (most?) of what I listen to in music owes them a significant debt...

...*whispers* I got a bit bored...

I saw them headline a Bestival with a 2D show. I had a ball. Admittedly, I can see how people would be bored by them. But it's time.

Having not even seen the new JP Tent I reserve full judgement of anyone playing there - it's the location that still bothers me. Especially for a headline slot.

Location is good, actually. That field fared a bit better than much of the site, in last year's Mudageddon.

I mean, it's still a fair old trek from anywhere else, but not that much further up than the old location.

And with JP headliners finishing a bit earlier than the bigger stages, seeing someone there still gives you the march on the masses for getting to the SEC, if that's your bag**

Oh, very much my bag too. A night not in the SEC is a night wasted, to me. It was precisely the distance to that glorious place that I meant when I complained about the location.

Difficult not to when they're on a USB stick.

That was a little bit my point, but being an electronica nut I felt a wee bit like a heretic even thinking it, let alone saying it. And anyway, I think they just stream from a cloud now, Grandad.

Just realised that I cocked that up. It seems that Sigur Ros finished in JPT at the same time as Muse on Pyramid. My advantage was being one of the cognoscenti - I had a couple of amazing hours including Paranoid London in Spaceport (wow...) before heading to the SEC for the rest of the night.

Can't risk that with the signal on the farm.

Think you certainly have a lot of the right acts.  Would be amazed if at least 80% of that lot aren't there.

Personally don't think Major Lazer, The Maccabees and Elbow won't be there so that frees up 3 very big positions.  I'm actually still inclined to agree that the Kaisers may appear as a sub with the Foos getting their long set.  Wouldn't surprise me to get a higher spot either, 3rd Pyramid or subbing other.

The Jackons are Saturday (I think)

QElbow won't be subbing, Stormzy will be above Clean Bandit, KC whatever they do won't be 3rd down Other.

ML exclusive to Reading, in a way I could see that holding out during our sales but the end of March isn't going going to do enough sales I doubt. They could hold them off until end of May though but I don't expect them, Reading don't have a headliner problem this year and tbh that might be why they chose who they did after that problem.

Wanna hear more opinions

Can't see ML or Green Day myself.

Jacksons are playing Sat. Can see JK and the lads there but I think someone like Damian Marley will headline WH. Can see Bonobo on JP, maybe instead of Dizzee.

Dont see The Maccabees there either.

Other than that I think your Fri and Sat Pyramid selections will be almost spot on.

The lack of Di-Ro in people's predictions is starting to worry me!!
