Nibble
Next year will be 10 years since they first headlined. Should have a new album out next year. Possible Pyramid 2017 headliners? Beats Sheeran, right...?

eastynh
Seen them twice and they bored me shitless twice. Shame really as I quite enjoy their hits when they pop up on the radio.

CaledonianGonzo
They could still strike at any time.
FuzzyDunlop
Saw them in about 2004. I liked Hot Fuss at the time. I haven't heard that album for about 8 years now as Mr Brightside gets right on my nerves now. I might give it another listen and see what I think now. CaledonianGonzo
Prepared to take bets that Glamorous Indie RocknRoll or whatever it's called is still one of the worst songs ever recorded.

nikkic
Safe to say that The Killers and KOL will probably headline V every 3rd year on rotation until they are deemed suitable to play The Goodwood Festival.
Drinky
The Killers in the New Tent in 2004 was incredible. On the Pyramid in 2005 they were good. Headlining in 2007 they were poor (the year of the wind-affected sound). So based on that trajectory... Maybe best not?

Decided they were crap so went and sat at the back of the field where the Killers were. I thought maybe I had been unfair to them 1st time as I saw them straight after Human League, Pixxie Lott and Happy Mondays. That was a tough trio to follow. I was right though, they are just a bit dull.

CaledonianGonzo
Reasons to be cheerful. Mid-noughties nostalgia feels like bad juju in 2016, but come 2026 people will be getting the feels over ten years of albums like RTJ2, Lemonade and TPAB

Love it when the lighting rig fails halfway through and everyone just carries on. I can't remember the last time I saw a crowd spilling out of the tent so far back, and this was long before there was a screen outside the tent down there.
