Haha that was a complete brain fart. I did it again in the second one as well! It would be pretty mega if they did the album in full but subtly mixed up the order for no reason.

I think starting with the first five tracks from Ok Computer would be great. Airbag then Paranoid Android as the opening salvo would annihilate the field.

Doing an anniversary type show would be one of the few ways they could utterly balls up a headline set. They know their fans love the spontaneity of some songs appearing and rarities and stuff so strutting out and knuckling into an old album would be horrendous.

They didn't even acknowledge the 10 year anniversary of their debut album in 2003 though, so I can't see them doing it for the difficult 3rd album 20 years on.

Why would it be horrendous? 

If Radiohead walk on stage and play the first five tracks of OK Computer, then launch in to their usual style of setlist, the fans would go mental for it. Also, the lunatic hardcore fans like us love the spontaneity of their setlists, but the majority of their crowd at Glastonbury will be gutted if they don't play 8-10 of their most popular tracks. Doing some sort of nod to OK Computer may not please the die hards, but Glastonbury will be for everyone, not just them.

I don't reckon that them playing the first five off AMSP was a great decision either but at least that's the current record.

Besides, I'd say that playing half/all of an album in the order of the CD is fan service. Playing the hits is what they'd do for the casuals and that's what we're expecting as well. So basically it'd alienate casuals and most fans wouldn't be crazy about them coming back after all these years and playing an album that they've already brought to the Pyramid twice in lieu of their favourites since.

I do agree with your point to some extent. I think it would be a bit different with OK Computer though since the first 5 tracks from that record include 2 'greatest hit' style tunes, and 3 songs that resonate with the hardcore fans. We're not talking them doing half of Amnesiac or anything!
