According to his Twitter account he is playing live at Glastonbury (I had wondered if it was a DJ set).

So presumably this means with his band and mini-orchestra? I hope so!

I'm personally not too fussed about the Live show, however I will be keeping my ear firmly pressed against the ground for any rumblings of a marathon DJ set somewhere

And I'm almost the reverse, in that his latest LP of jazz-infused electronic wonderment will sound SO good live on the Farm.

I say almost, as I'm also so there when he drops the wax...

i have yet to see the live show and I imagine that all the stops will be pulled out for a glastonbury performance so it should be a great place to watch it! not all the live shows have the orchestra i dont think, but hopefully it should be suitably beefed up for a big festival performance.

hopefully he will also DJ but I wouldn't count on it.

Heard nothing but good things about the live show. You'd be a fool to miss it if you like him on record.

His DJ sets are always remarkable though. Reckon he'll do some sort of extended late night party in Stonebridge with the Hessle boys or something.

Im thinking there will need to be a bit of a lightshow. Subbing could work. 9:30-10:30?

I'm hoping he does a DJ set somewhere at glasto. I'd make it a priority. 

Saw his live set when he toured and it is brilliant, light show and all. I hope he brings his mini-orchestra to Glasto tho, cause that was missing from his Manchester show.

I do hope he throws a DJ set in there somewhere as well, he's got quite a busy schedule and having the whole weekend of Glastonbury free fills me with hope

I think the live setup will either be a Park sub or 3rd down on WH. I'd hope for the Park personally. Do we have a day specified yet?

On the first poster, innit? I'd never heard of Floating Points but had a youtube session after that first poster came out of the acts I'd not heard of or wasn't familiar with, and he stood out. Will do a bit more swotting up in the coming weeks.

yeah my thoughts exactly. i guess he could always take third which wouldn't seem too outrageous, although obviously doesn't benefit from the sunset
