When does your Glastonbury buzz start.....

First time in the ticket rush, first buzz came when the order screen appeared after refreshing for 18 minutes. Followed by horror when the screen timed out after entering and submitting the order. Accumulating in euphoria when after refreshing again the order was confirmed. Since then am still riding the wave and can't wait to experience what so many have already enjoyed.

Already started for me, even though I got shed loads to look forward to this year. Glastonbury will definitely be the biggest highlight!

Scream of joy when friend told me got through and got my ticket, and some excitement in ordering my tent. But a bit flat the moment, a flurry of confirmed bands will pick me up though.

I am always shaking when I mange to secure the tickets , the next minor buzz comes with the lineup announcement , one more when I finish work on the friday prior to the festival and the next when the tent is pitched and the cider opened , followed by numerous ones throughout the course of the festival !!

I'm excited about the next one immediately after I get home from the last one, but the buzz doesn't truly start to kick in until about April time. That's when I get all giddy and overly excited and can't stop speaking about it to anyone who will listen

i start buzzing after the festi has ended and ive stopped panicking and having anxiouty attacks .........then i drive past the tor on my way home and i realise wot a great time ive had and promise NEXT YAER NO PANICKING ....and all is well till the next year when i drive up the hill on the other side of pilton and glance to my left and start looking for the tor and the fence and you lot humbeans lol

This is an EXACT, PERFECT description as to why I have 5 children.

1) Receiving the email confirming when t-day is

2) Securing a ticket on t-day

3) The stream of announcements for all the other fests (round about now/February)

4) Stand by your beds

5) Paying off the balance!

I'm like a cat on a hot tin roof the night beforehand. This see's me eating about 3 e's and staying up all night with eager anticipation. Somehow I feel as fresh as a daisy heading off late morning.

I had a weird dream last night about camping at Glastonbury up on Michaels Mead where I normally go, only in the tents next to me were Aerosmith. They were lovely lads, but didn't want us to drink heavily, and I had to explain to em that really, we have to drink a lot, and sorry about all the noise!

So, I bought one of those tarp hats today, too. So you could say I've got started.

My buzz is always there in the background but it has just recently started to buzz a bit louder since other festivals have begun releasing some details on acts. This normally means that the odd Glastonbury ones will begin to trickle out. Not many but enough to have something to go on.

Securing tickets , then a lull unless there is an announcement , even moving the JP tent announcement ensures the buzz happens. Even more excited as we've booked flights to come back for Easter just so that we can climb the Tor and hopefully see the site outside of the festival

This will only be my second year and i got the buzz about the john peel tent news. I didn't even make it to the john peel tent last year.....

Also in the January sales i found some lovely loose cotton trousers, perfect for when the temperature dips a bit on a breezy summer evening. That was this year's first purchase

I'm usually in a complete malaise at this time of year until about March so I find myself looking at favourite moments on YouTube and so on to cheer me up! I try to keep my emotions in check nearer the time so that feeling when you first see the site is all that more sweet... but it's bloody difficult!
