So Pendulum are returning live and have been announced for Ultra.

Could definitely see them on The Other Stage, but I just want them to play on Arcadia...

Didn't even know they reformed. I could potential see them being given a headline slot or sub slot on the other stage.

if they played, then Other Stage headliner is pretty much the only spot they'd be getting. i doubt they will play though - Rob very recently said he had no desire at all to tour with Pendulum live, so i'm guessing they/he's doing it all for the money, which Glastonbury doesn't pay

they were fucking shit last time they played (subbing Pyramid) and I was a fan. You could tell the MC was hating being there and they finished stupidly early I think........

I was a fan, back in the day... I saw them supporting faithless at Lytham in the summer.. and they were dreadful.. might have been down to the timeslot, crowd.. but was basically a beardy bloke shouting and a less beardy bloke on a turntable going thru the motions..

That was a dj set not the actual band

I've seen some great Pendulum shows at Pinkpop and in Tilburg, but the set at Glasto 2011 was terrible. That set consisted mostly of mellow 'Immersion' songs.

I wouldn't mind seeing them again, as long as they bring their older stompers.

In the dark at Glastonbury, is when  Pendulum are epic!!!! It's where they belong at Worthy Farm. Other Stage headliner!

Yeah whatever you think of Pendulum, their set in 2009 was superb. Was there myself, absolutely loved it.

If they played Other stage, or even one of the tents and just stuck to the belters off Hold your Colour and In Silico then they would definitely be worth a watch!

for some reason i've always thought the sunday sub-pyramid slot was supposed to be just a bit more special than same slot fri/sat...the Eavis' in the past referred to it at times as the 'penultimate pyramid slot of the weekend' etc...pretty major acts like Roger Waters, Manics (03), Morrissey (04)  Neil Young (97) even Simple Minds (95) had been booked in that slot, and so i've always given it a bit of an extra 'wonder who's playing it' thought each year. I feel like Pendulum just ruined that perception of it for me tho...i wasn't there in '11 but always wondered how on earth they got placed there. must admit i didn't know much about them but watched a bit on youtube and was horrified....

Seems to be getting a bit serious, I think they will play more than just that one date at Ultra.

If they do get a slot at Glastonbury, preferably in the dark, on the Other or JP, and steer clear of any 'Immersion' garbage, I'm game.

I don't mind Immersion but live it's a definitely weaker than Hold Your Colour & In Silico. & yes that 2011 set was rubbish compared to when I saw them at Global Gathering & Bestival the same year headlining at night.
