Do you think people watching the streams would, in a different context, also complain about people at gigs with their phones out?

I only had a look at the stream but yeah, certainly. I'd be going barmy if I'd travelled hours and paid £70 to stand behind someone broadcasting it for people on their sofas.

Hmm, maybe I've dodged a bullet by going Berlin over Roundhouse - surely they won't do this at festivals?

That's not out of not liking the new album, but for the first time I see them I'd like something a bit more career-spanning ideally.

Is there any day tickets left for Berlin? Might try convince the missus or mates to go for the day

It's mad theres probably more people watching it on Periscope then are in the arena watching them live.

If they do play the full album in full, I will be fascinated how the crowd reacts to it. They seem fairly underwhelmed at the moment, athough I appreciate you cant really tell from camera phone footage

I am loving it though, sounds great

... love that song by the way, sounded ace

Yep, one of the few chances to see them that isn't completely sold out - and probably the closest to home.

Kinda glad it seems to be album in full at the moment. I'd still like to see most of the songs but the less chance they have of playing songs I'd be gutted to miss, the better.

Watch them come out for the second half of the gig and play Let Down, The Bends, How To Disappear Completely, Reckoner, Weird Fishes, Fake Plastic Trees, Jigsaw Falling Into Place, 2+2=5, The Daily Mail, Paranoid Android, A Wolf At The Door and Everything in its Right Place.

    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
