The WASTE site is so bad...

I'm sure I had an account that I bought In Rainbows on a year or so ago, but it can't seem to find the account at all?

When I use the "Join WASTE" link, I only enter an email address, there's no password...?

Is that right? I thought I'd have to log in tomorrow.

Thanks - I just tried to create an account part-way through the checkout process by checking the "Remember me" checkbox, but there was no password option. And I couldn't "reset" the password either.

I can't see how you create an account...?

Yeah, beside gigs was saying on sale 18th, now saying W.A.S.T.E on sale 16th at 10:00 GMT. Presume anyone can access.

Let's keep it between ourselves.

it looks like you can't get to the presale site through by clicking through the normal website, you need that link to get to it

perhaps you'll need your W.A.S.T.E login to actually buy the tickets on the day? otherwise that's a really shit Presale method

Reckon it'd be a better option to have a window open for each date and keep refreshing them all to see which gets through first, or to have a few ticket sites open for one date?

Edit: For the main sale I mean.

Edit: Or even a different site for each date? eg. Roundhouse website Fri, See Sat, Gigs and Tours Sun.

    • It's the photo that keeps on giving;
    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.
