they've got to play something from The Bends/OK Computer though, so might as well play the songs people know. not gonna win anybody over by playing Black Star and Subterranean Homesick Alien are they?

Paranoid Android is a pretty constant feature of their setlists, and they're smart enough to wheel it (or KP or something) out at Glasto in the middle of the later stuff, they know they also have a fairweather crowd to keep on side
