Absolutely right, there's no fucking way Primal Scream would have headlined Reading as recently as two years ago.

Despite Libertines this year, Glasto sub and Reading headliner aren't really equivalents. Plus Foals (apparently) rejected subbing Glastonbury this year and also said a while back that their aim was to headline Reading so there won't be any foolishness with rejecting headlining other festivals to sub Glasto either.

They were incredibly good in Newcastle last night. I think they probably could pull off headline on the pyramid but I'd probably prefer to see them headline the other against someone like Adele.

They were seriously seriously good in Abderdeen a couple nights back, well worth the journey up

They'd smash a headline slot to pieces I have no doubt about it, I think they'd do a brilliant job of Glastonbury even

Echoing what's already been said that they killed it last night. 

My only minor complaint was some of the crowd being more interested in trying to start mosh pits for every song even for slower songs like Late Night but that's just my opinion
