@blutarsky your daily updates were great ... I know you arent attending but we are missing those

Don’t know if I could bring myself to do it…? Maybe. I’m coming back on this forum now anyway, so might as well…

Won’t be doing it until I’m back at work on the 23rd though. Keep peer pressuring me!

I think it’s my failing eyesight but I always struggle to make out the initial stages of the ribbon tower … however it’s more than due … it started showing on the 5th last year

Big update to the Time Machine today for my fellow Glastonbury webcam nerds:

  • The image is now much larger onscreen
  • The image can be panned and zoomed (slider or mouse scroll wheel)
  • High resolution imagery will be retrieved automatically when needed
  • This should also work on mobile devices with pinch zooming etc.
  • The high resolution image can be downloaded
  • The image can be stored and then recalled later by holding the relevant button, for comparison purposes
  • The image brightness and contrast can be modified

You might need to force a full refresh (CTRL-F5) to pick up the new version.

Enjoy!

Looks like there is some work going on in the area of the ribbon tower. Not on my phone to post a picture

This is the ribbon town area - nothing there yet. This bits higher up to the right are to do with shooting ground.

Always good when that little tree gets some foliage so I can imagine it's a dinosaur taking a dump again.

That lorry tried to turn down a small road in Pilton just across from the crown, then realised it was too steep and narrow, driver had obviously had missed the delivery gate. Got stuck across blocking the main road.  Must have missed the sign, no access to festival site!

god knows the chaos it would cause if it went down that hill and got to the bend at the bottom 🙂

Luckily we had walked from our campsite to Pilton so didn’t cause us problems though the country lanes were busy with vehicles trying to by pass the village.

Nice Dayi. Pilton, fence from the wrong side, new barn, pyramid and a lorry stuck outside the crown pub causing chaos!

and a lovely lunch in the crown!

We must have been walking that part of the fence almost the same time. That barn is opposite the Mary’s gate right?
