The Park - Bank Holiday

Not a lot going on. The stage has a lot of equipment delivered to in in readiness but no construction yet.

Much the same at the Ribbon Tower

I never knew the Park had a side entrance, half way up on it's west side into Pennards as shown by the big posts and rafters

So do you know if today the last day 'randoms' can take a walk around the site before they set up security measures?

Usually they don’t shut it off til end of may, but since start of covid there have been signs up asking people to stay away, I believe they put a new sign up yesterday to remind people. My experience has always been pleasant I’m local and walk it quite often j think they just want to avoid masses of people being there

Bank Holiday - The Stones

Maybe I missed it in 2019. There seems to be a new purpose built entrance at the bottom coming up from the green fields. It's built from sand stone bricks, very substantial and looks beautiful.

Also in the east of the field half way up there is a ban the bomb/love sign next to some lovely gardens

Yep, that's new.  Been there since last summer, I spoke to one of the Worthy Pastures stewards about it.  I think it might be from the quarry near the farmhouse.

Bella's Bridge -  Bank Holiday.

I love this place. Just north of it is the Crooners Corner stage - not shown - where this singer often belts out some great Frank Sanartra songs.

It looks like they have fully re-done the deck. It certainly attracted lots of mud to stick to it in the past.

I can't believe it's 10 years old already

There is a pedestrian walkway thru the water like a Ford... has that always been there?

Big Green Giant - Bank Holiday

Also known as Pangia - Arcadia

I am so glad the Spider is returning.

Do people think they will have both the crane and spider this year? There does seem to be enough room...

Odds and Sods - Bank Holiday

Mostly just open Fields, a few of the wood pile on the main crossroads on the railway line.

The pictures do have a title but feel free to ask any questions if you want.

Am I the only one that thinks it's weird to have a limit to how many 'likes' you can give out in one day. Any thanks to those who have expressed their appreciation - to many to 'like' 😄

Thanks so much @Staberinde 👏👏

Whereabouts is that new-looking building with the big brown roof and astroturf-covered benches?

I couldn't get in to the last two festivals and that's a new one on me. looks good though!

If you stand on the pathway with the entrance to the Acoustic Field to your right, walk forward eastward, you pass the entrance to the Kiz field on your right, that building is the next entrance to your right

Thanks! A busy spot - I somehow expected it to be more out of the way. Will check it out 👍

    • It can take around 30-45 mins to walk from the arena back to the transport hub with the crowds, depending on density. Allow even longer in poor conditions. I don't think you'd need to leave Linkin Park early though, you have at least an hour and 20 minutes to walk to transportation. I certainly wouldn't leave early in your shoes, knowing I can just walk to the airport if needs be (2 mile walk and another 30 - 45 min walk depending on your walking speed and conditions.) Maybe just don't linger too long for the toilet / food after Linkin Park have finished.  It will definitely make sense and all just fall into place on the night, don't worry too much and have a great time. The very worst that can happen is a little extra walking to the Airport Skylink bus stop, as those Skylink busses are 100% 24 hour. 🙂  GFS, ICON and ECMWF are ALL in agreement on the latest runs.... After a mildly moist Weds and Thurs, high Pressure building from Friday... Lets just hope they continue to agree... ☀️☀️☀️
