I wonder if they'll move the sign further up the hill? Is that a definite change, the fence is further back than last year? Padgey
So what will we see when it is back up and running? Fence joined up? Ribbons on the Tower? T'Other stage up?! A whole new area?!! We could be in for a long wait!
kalifire
I've tweeted @bbcglasto as have a few others. They're bound to be aware of the issue. Just hope it's back up soon. I check in throughout the day

I am Jon
Looks like the Other stage is going to be different to last year: Note how the roof is pitched from side to side rather than last years front to back. Also currently only 4 main upright bits, rather than 8 or so last year........  Looking more like the leeds festival stage?? Deaf Nobby Burton
Is that the big suprise, a slightly smaller different roofed other stage?
thatcrazypenguin
Longest the cams been down in ages ...something they dont want people to see on the build? Or an on site reveal for the 'big secret' like radioheads?
poison69
The other stage looks like a rather elaborate bog roll holder at the mo!

The acts are often drowned in the space.  Newton Faulkner looked a bit lost on it last year! Edited May 22, 2017 by Fork_UK

Yeah I agree, although it's a difficult one because in the day, and especially if it's not sunny it's such a barren area that you'd think it would need as big a stage as possible, but somehow the one they've had for the past couple of years hasn't been quite right either, IMO of course. Was some activity around there before the cam went off and they were messing around with what looked like a video screen on there last week. Considering they built it new for Glastonbury, I hardly think they'd bin it after 2 years. http://www.stages.co.uk/serious-stages-a-big-success-with-the-other-stage-at-glastonbury-festival
Deaf Nobby Burton
What we can see must be one of the ends laid out sideways rather than the front then, and they only put up some of the uprights.

I think it could well be deeper than last years stage. Looks like they are using the TZ rather than Triton? http://www.stages.co.uk/festival-and-concert-stages/tower-roof

I think it's the camera angle. It's in situ and the roof goes straight up. https://youtu.be/XN2sCwmmhfY#t=03m36s

Dave_c
Definitely looks different if that is the beginnings of the roof.
