i wonder how much work it would be to display the playlist and that selects the day/ time.

Is there an easily accessible resource for the playlist with the time/date on? It'd just be the pyramid sets.

If not then I can grab them from various archives - next weekend is wet and horrible - ideal time to write some code....

I've now updated it to include the sets from these years - I've had a quick test and it seems to work.

One thing is the image view - I've added in a pan+zoom which is both useful and irritating - let me know if I should:

- keep it
- bin it and display the image full size
- bin it and display the image to fit the window

Oh, and let me know if it's broken for you and if there's anything else.

I guess I could add in a list of significant events - like fence going up, pyramid all in red, etc. But I'd need people to let me know those dates/times.

Awesome work @hfuhruhurr! :)

All the sets I tried worked perfectly! Only issue I had (which may be my end) was when zooming in the image tended to disappear off the top of the screen. A bit fiddly but I managed to solve it as you can click and drag the image back down before zooming in futher. Hope this makes sense

Yeah - I'm in two minds (being hfuhruhurr!) about the zoom thing. I'll be guided by others on what to do with it.

It's a tough one.  On one hand, it's great being able to have the image and the controls on the same page, plus it's good to have more control over the zoom level that you get when viewing a raw image in the browser.

Yet, it's a bit fiddly at the moment.  I'm not sure how to improve it, but it feels like something could be done without throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Maybe limit where it can be panned to, or cap the zoom level?

Webcam is back up and running again as of 07:30 this morning :)

Thanks for heads up, I’ve missed my daily (and sometimes more than hourly!) fix gazing at the sight and watching the cows, occasional tractor and the beautiful sight of the pyramid skeleton 👍.

Morning :)

Magnificent views across the vale of Avalon again this morning. There is something about that low angle morning sun light on days like these that is utterly unique.  Looks better than in June in many ways on these rare clear, still winter days.

    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
