Meanwhile, while you're all focussing on what's happening at The Pyramid, there's also something going up at (I think) The Beat Hotel.

Think thats too far to the right for the Beat - might be the long drops between Dance Village and JP old location

You are correct, that's the bridge from old JP to Silver Hayes.

Looks like they are doing something to the long drops. They had a tent like that over some of the others when we went for a walk up on the farm a few months back. Not sure what they are doing to them though, maybe water (pee/poo) proofing the bricks to help prevent leaks?

Yep they are spraying the inside with something to stop any leakage

Having just returned from our daily run shuffle around the site I can say that West Holts stage base is up and they are building the top now. Trackway boys are there and the fence is being prepped. The tracks are bone dry. 3 cars came past us and the cloud of dust they threw up made it hard to breathe. Bread and Roses is being built. Long drop tops are on. Bullring is up and topped

I love updates from people that visit it's like having a spy on the inside!

Interesting to watch. btw  - the stills link seems to be:

A slight change from the one last year (which was panodata2)

And the current image seems to be at both:

    • I take my lad to the local non-league club - Royston Town - not he's 13, he goes there with his mates and he plays in their youth team.  Not many people there - lucky if they hit 800, but lovely supporting the town team.  I've took him to some league clubs too - Cambridge and Stevenage are great to visit and not crazy prices - his first one was Cambridge v Sunderland (I'm a mackem) when they were in league 1, so a great experience for him.  The England matches aren't too bad value either at Wembley - it's just the parking that stings you. Problem is, he's a City fan, so at some point have to bite the bullet and get him up to the Ethiad. Have done the tour, but he'd love a proper game....my wallet, less so!
    • Said it before, but if Annie Lennox is available next year, then it would be an absolute crime to instead book anyone else. She's rare and legendary enough that you drop all other plans.
    • I was having a tired day, my apologies 😂
    • I was there with Oxfam too! I got earlies so it was probably me who registered you on arrival 😀
    • Slightly unexpected, but Shambala is discounted on TfG.   Works out at about £215 after discount which is about a third off.
