Can't think of a better way to spend sunday night at glasto. Really looking forward to it. Trying to remember if I've seen them since the 90s, surely must have but can't think when. Will take something seriously unmissable on another stage to drag me away.

Excuse my dance music ignorance, but when I watch the videos of their live shows it looks like a DJ set to me.

What's the difference between their live show and a DJ show?

live show is their own music with a flashy stage production

Dj set is them playing any songs they feel like by any artist and with a more scaled down production

Anyone reckon there'll be any chance of 'the sunshine underground' being played? I would love to see them do it

think they used to do it way back. I'd love that to be played too, an absolute favourite of mine. Edited by WS_Jack_III

Gave Dont Think an aul whirl yesterday for the buzz. It had ben a while. Have to say if I end up on the Sunday seeing the Chems yet again it will be far from the worst thing in the world.

Solid tunage. Good for a closing party to a weekend.

I could imagine far worse ways to close out a Glasto weekend

M&S? Beyonce? Kasabian? I have unfortunately experienced them all as closers...................

(I really do need mates with better taste in music!)

New stuff has grown on me a bit and if they beef them up a bit for live purposes they'll sound great.

Always a must see for me but I am torn between them and the Who. Not a massive fan of The Who but feel like I should watch them.

Heart says Chemical Brothers though. :)

I was in the same predicament until listening to Chems again a week or so ago, I realised I would only be going to see the Who to tick a box rather than because I wanted to see them. Chems it is for me.

I'm still torn, big fan of them both. I've said The Who thus far but I keep thinking back to how good Chemical Brothers were in 2011, really opened my eyes to them, still possibly the best time I've ever had at a gig. Think I may be leaning to them a little now, especially given how late it is in the day for The Who's career

As I said to my mate who is a fan of both.

You could possibly come away from the who thinking you should have watched the chems but there's no way you would come away from the chems wishing you had seen the who

setlist from their first show last night:

Hey Boy Hey Girl

EML Ritual

Go

Sometimes I Feel So Deserted (Electronic Battle Weapon 11)

Acid Children / Chemical Beats

Out Of Control / Setting Sun

Elektrobank

I'll See You There

Galvanize

Saturate

Swoon

Do It Again

not bad at all - definitely a 'greatest hits' kind of ordeal. if they play a set like this at Glastonbury i'll be over the moon

visuals look on point as well! man i'm stoked for this
