Can't believe how easy it was to get for Llandudno.

Usually absolute murder to get tickets for any kind of gig here. I'm already having to miss the Foos at Wembley a few weeks later, so nice to have a gig come to me for once!

gutted but decided its too much hassle (girlfriend probably wouldnt make it til near show time / miss the start as she'd be driving from work where she never finishes "on time") and just hoping for other gigs later in the year. I think its unlikely as Hyde Park wont sell out, so they'll just assume because nobody wants to go to the centre of the universe that there's no point going out around the country

I genuinely got 4 for dudno and then felt sick when i realised that I had double booked!!! now I do not have a clue what to do with them.

i need rid of them and will give my card that I paid with to anyone who wants any as I have a new card on its way anyway.

gutted but the original gig I had booked is more important.

I wish you could just get refunds in this situation - i dont want to go dealing with touting scum sites like getmein who charge loads of extras when all i want is near to what i paid.

Managed to get tickets for Blackpool. Seen them quite a bit over the years but Glastonbury 2009 was the most amazing gig I have ever been at. The atmosphere was unreal and the pure togetherness of the band and the crowd was like nothing I'd ever seen before.I doubt It will ever be beaten. It is my most favourite moment in time.

The new album is a real grower. Being a big fan anyway I instantly loved but it does get better and better!

Agreed! My first Glastonbury and a truly magical moment that kept me coming back.

Not a fan of the new album but just rewatched the '09 set and fuck, it was just such a fucking special night.

Going to Blur instead of The Prodigy was the greatest 50/50 decision I've ever made.

You're literally one of the only people I've seen who enjoys Blur but isn't a fan of the new album.

    • Doesn't surprise me. West Yorkshire had a vote if they wanted a mayor in 2012 and voted no. The government then ignored the vote and announced the position anyway in 2016.

    • Also agree, it does feel that there isn’t much between the Mercury Prize and the Brit Awards these days.   This part sums it up for me “The complaint isn’t so much about the quality of the music, but more the disappearance of spaces for outsider voices in British music. With streaming algorithms feeling increasingly geared towards big names, and social media acting as a minefield, the Mercury’s pivot to the mainstream closes another door in the face of creative independence.”
