I'll be very surprised if we don't get a Fred/Fourtet/Skrillex b2b2b on whatever Arcadia looks like this year

Think they’d have to either do that at headliner time or as a “special guest” type thing, otherwise it would be so dangerous. Probably would be dangerous either way actually.

Would probably at peak time when the crowds are spread across the site. Would alleviate some crowding in the south east corner

Wounded, just saw the promoter tweet about it and apparently it went on sale an hour before that?

Knew there'd be chatter on here about it 😄

Especially gutted as this is in walking distance for me

Still tickets to come I think based off basically nobody getting them in fred’s discord vs last night’s show. eat your own ears posted 15 min ago to keep an eye on stories and the site keeps changing. Codes are

FOURTET133

FREDAGAIN133

SKRILLEX133

all similar eg 033,233 seem to work

Felix Dickinson always closes that stage on Monday morning and since my first Glasto in 2016 I've always been there for his set, usually on my own because my mates are long gone to bed but it's always a special vibe, I hope they keep that tradition going.

This is the set that wipes out the next week for me, but it's so worth it

Yes.

I love that this has been a tradition, and also hope it keeps going. Such a great way to close out the weekend.

    • Chaka can, or Chaka can't?
    • TVOD are playing Blue Basement in London 2/9 with a complete EOTR/Psych Fest shaped hole before their next gig in Lyon on 8/9. Well received in the Big Top last year, reckon they're nailed on for a secret set in the Tipi.
    • Didn't they widen the entrance last year to enable them to increase the number of pitches or have I imagined this? Perhaps they might return under a different form of glamping?    Just had another thought - Or even rent the land to the festival for CV pitches.......
    • It should forever be the Tipi.   Just as the news about Geese was shared on Twitter.
    • It really surprised me that Rock AM Ring made Download feel like an extremely well organised festival with good communication in comparison. If we were to ever try either of them again we would go for IM Park and stop in Nuremberg.     Agree that the long thin mainstage isn't great, but where the mainstage is makes it really hard to navigate when it is busy because of that choke point created by the food vendors, bar/lounges with a view of main and where the crowd is coming form second stage. The concrete is hard on the joints. The front standing is a pisstake and the communication from the fest about what is happening on site other than which campsites are filling up leaves a lot to be desired. Car parks being a free for all doesn't help either.   I think it really suffers being so far from anything other than small towns/villages that lack proper public transport and Koblenz being the closest town which you can can use to get public transport to the fest being 60km away.
