Just found out that we have back stage passes for Luna at Shangri La all week of the festival. I don’t have much on my lineup wish list in there so I’m hoping some of you knowledgable dance music aficionados will give me a steer?

Any must sees for you on Luna? We’ll mostly be there for the Defected stuff so looking for something that’s a similar vibe or just something that you will definitely be there for?

Congratulations! That's very cool!

As a programming profile, there's not a lot on there that is my stuff, but the one set I'll definitely be at is I Love Acid with Posthuman b2b Johnny Aux (Paranoid London) - Friday night 0400-0600h - which should be all manner of lovely, bleepy 303 goodness.

No I think he's wanting to do more ambient stuff on there - I'm hoping for something along the lines of his morning/evening ep.

We weren't there last year so new for us this year, looks like some really interesting things on there. Some of our gang haven't been for ten years so haven't seen either tree, they're the ones I'm worried about.

Ambient doesn’t really fit with the style of his wingdings tracks, though

I see Jon Hopkins is on the schedule but only for 25 mins (for a playback). Any idea why that’s the case? I assume we can expect him to appear elsewhere either live or DJ? Certainly hope so.

I very much doubt he’ll even be there - it’s just a playback

Is anyone really gonna want to commit to a 4/5/6 hour set in the same place when you have the whole of glasto to go at tho? Fair play if that’s your thing, but it feels a bit wasteful to me.

Yeh, but the beauty is you can pop along for some of it, rather than missing entirely because of an inevitable clash

any sunday night recommendations? struggling to find anything after midnight on the last night.

My normal taste in electronic music is Moderat (sadly both sets are on at bad times for modeselektor), bicep, barry cant swim, justice, anish kumar, overmono .

My tastes are similar to yours, I'll be at Overmono as my headliner, and my options are either Leon Vynehall at the Glade Dome, Sub Focus & Nia Archives at IIcon or Groove Armada at Levels

The Temple.

It'll be techno, but glorious, intelligent techno. Not the 145bpm, echoey, reverbed kick drum, coked-up nonsense. KI/KI will likely play a set with trance elements, and Ben Sims is a master. And, The Temple on the Sunday night is one of the best possible ways to rave-finish a festival.

I fully intend to catch Marc Rebillet at Shangri La. It’s a 3am start I think but saw a recommendation for him on here previously, seen loads of his stuff on YouTube since and he’s a magician at creating music from seemingly nothing. Very off the wall but is one of my must sees of the weekend. Gutted it’s so late as I’m the designated driver on Monday

morning in our Motorhome but only going as far as Cheddar that day so should just about be able to cope.

Arcadia Bug? Is that new at Arcadia? I have not checked if that lineup of artists are already in the Glasto app or website schedule.

Edit:

looks like I just missed it so when I randomly did a search for Pizza Hotline - they are already at the app and scheduled to play at The Bug.

Not new, it's the roaming armoured looking vehicle that does sets around the place. There was a thread on it in recent days (on a train with shite reception so can't find it). I saw it in Shangri-la and Carhenge last yr

Got some slightly good news for you - he starts at 2! Good luck on the driver home!

    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
    • If we are guessing then I think it's   Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls   Weezer   The All-American Rejects
    • Everyone who was there has said how amazing it was so makes the excitement grow even more.  The XX and actually Kneecap were both very good too.     Roll on 3 weeks time
