Thoughts?

I’m never been a huge fan of Aphex Twin but understand it’s a decent booking.

Bonobo is one of my all timers, but I don’t think his show works outside. I went to see him at Royal Albert Hall last year which ended up being one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to, then caught a bit of him at Glastonbury and didn’t think it could be compared at all.

Field Day used to be my favourite festival, but they lost my interest a while back and this doesn't do anything to change it sadly. Aphex booking is cool but doesn't have the WOW factor it did last time.

Doesn't say Aphex [UK Exclusive] which is hopeful for a Glasto dream.

TSHA Live sounds interesting, sounds like something that could be hitting the festivals this year, maybe even the farm.

Only recently learned about Hagop Tchaparian through a remix Four Tet did of his

Decent line up but don't think I would have gone anyways, even though never seen AT yet

This remix is incredible - otherworldly, saw people saying about Hagop a while back - he used to be a touring like sound guy if i recall. think he's signed to four tet's label as well, they are closely linked

I saw Bonobo in portugal live last year and enjoyed it - was post headliner at like midnight though vs at half 8 in viccy park

Was thinking the same thing!

Can anybody tell me how fast the Houghton main sale will usually sells out?

Last year (first year post covid etc) it was akin to glasto sale. Within minutes and you got "randomly" assigned a place in queue. But I'm fairly sure when you first open the ticket page is a big factor.

Would plan to be there as soon as the link opens, but imagine demand is less due to it not being postponed for years, and whilst it's an Incredible fest, the thick black dust across the site last year might put people off going again this year (but definitely worth a visit, I loved it)

Love Saves the day lineup might be quite relevant as they now run Silver Hayes?

Most of the top names on this play most years anyway / just played for Years & Years or say Sub Focus B2B Dimension or Hybrid Minds.

Can very much see Overmono becoming a regular and Folamour owes shangri la a set

Yeah, it’s kind of a lineup with lots of big names on it but yet no surprises.

Will be there as I go every year but it's quite strange, there's loads of depth in the undercard but some strange placings. Would have said Four Tet is a headliner outright!

    • A question has crossed my (questionable) mind;   Has the size of the Green Fields remained the same as other areas have expanded / been added on to, since say, 2014 (the last time that I attended)? Are they 'lost' within, or well attended?    That's actually two questions. The second one just slipped in at the end by taking advantage of my lack of means to stop it.
    • I'd say the same about Kylie.    Annie would be awesome, Duran not so much, and on the issue of them wanting a beanie slot, that probably rules out a fair few others who I think would fit the bill very well... and are legitimately more entitled to a headline, and/or too expensive.   Was just about to suggest Chaka Khan, but see @Gnomicide has beat me to it!    What about someone like Bryan Ferry?
    • It's certainly gone more that way, but then they went completely in the opposite direction and had Cat Stevens.
    • Chaka can, or Chaka can't?
    • TVOD are playing Blue Basement in London 2/9 with a complete EOTR/Psych Fest shaped hole before their next gig in Lyon on 8/9. Well received in the Big Top last year, reckon they're nailed on for a secret set in the Tipi.
