He's probably of the mindset that the more people who think it's now unseemly and undignified there are, the more reason there is to carry on regardless. Sometimes if people think you're being ridiculous the solution that presents itself is to be even more ridiculous.

And, after a certain point, it's what people come to expect.

It's still not really a coherent answer to *why* a 59 year old man is cavorting around in a school uniform. 'Because it's Angus and it's what he does' fails to cut it.

I always take these questions literally, so I tried Wikipedia:

People will argue either way on this but I'm with you. If they add a Glasgow show Saturday they're out and we'll probably need to see what they're doing in Europe around then, and I don't think those are announced yet.

The only reason which makes me think its still possible is, why would you book a gig on a sunday as the scottish gig? For massive acts they are generally fri and sat... Sunday as an extra night.
