Nothing wrong with Paramore. They looked pretty fun at Reading, pop punk, but not in the sexist, laddy blink 182 way.

maybe, but they were never asked to play when they were smaller (were they?) so it's hard to see why they'd be asked to play now that they're a big act. pop/punk isn't something that's really represented much at Glastonbury (probably because Reading and Leeds have so much of it)

I can't see them asking for a headline slot anyway, I reckon they are one of these bands that would play glastonbury because it's glastonbury.

But Glastonbury have obviously never asked them, otherwise they'd have played by now.

I think it's a common misconception that a lot of bands would happily take lower slots and weaken their bargainin position for major fests just to be on a Glastonbury lineup. I certainly can't see why Paramore would having never played the festival. Fests are just another necessary gig for a lot of bands.

wrong. i enjoyed Riot! (and the rest) when it came out but the new album absolutely pisses all over anything they've previously done. it's very good

it's a really fantastic album, and i'd say most of the album has far more in common with Forrest Gump than Pyramids (which kind of sticks out in the album, although i do absolutely love it)

i really didn't like that song at first but have found myself with it stuck in my head quite a lot recently. there's just something about it

Yeh same, really like it. If he is around next year I'd love him to play. I think he could pull off an other headline, I think his music suits it more than a daylight pyramid slot. I the next album is as successful as CO he would be big enough

i just can't imagine him headlining Other tbh. whenever i picture him at Glastonbury it's 3rd / 4th down on the Pyramid (although a Other headline slot would be a dream for me - still seething that he pulled out of Bestival in 2012)

That's pretty much how I feel about it. It's kind of easy to say "hip hop act? 4th down Pyramid. Friday." but I don't think Frank Ocean's similar to those rappers and will probably just end up branded 'boring'. Plus I predict he'll be too big for that and well on his way to stardom by summer but we'll have to wait and see I guess.

Yes. I don't know if they're big enough to play Other past lunchtime but wherever at the festival would be good.

played third down at TITP last year (surprisingly) and is only gonna get bigger with his next album. sub is a push but third on Pyramid seems about right. if a TITP crowd were accepting of him then i definitely think a Glastonbury one would be
