Nah IIRC it's only the Park that finishes early. Don't quote me on this but I think WH and JP go on until normal time / certainly one of my mates was annoyed Disclosure and Kasabian had a full clash last year.

yeah the other main stages all finish at roughly the same time - it's just the Park (for some reason) that finishes earlier

I saw the Sunday Park headliner last year and was walking through the Pyramid field to get back to my campsite before Kasabian were halfway through their set. And even then that was after I'd deliberately got lost. Basically the Sunday Park headline slot is pretty much a sub in terms of timing.

Don't think you can see the Park headliner and then a full set elsewhere, though. I was gonna see like half an hour of James Blake before Massive Attack, but wouldn't have been able to see any more (in the end I just watched The Black Keys and sat at my tent until MA because I couldn't be arsed to trek to the Park).

Yeah I walked through the Other field on the way back from James Blake with the intention of seeing MA but when I got there decided I couldn't be bothered having missed the start. Edited by Zac Quinn

Not trying to take the piss if it's been said a million times, but did Queen get ruled out for good in the last week? We were still counting them as possible a week ago. (I know M.E. said it wasn't them in October)

i just don't think anybody counts them as being a realistic option tbh. plus i think they've finished touring for now and Adam Lambert is concentrating on solo stuff

If it was daft punk(which would be great) I doubt anyone would be at the chems so its kind of unlikely no?

On a side note I'm sitting here listening to la roux and every tune is so catchy, I hope shes on an early outside slot for some daytime dancing

Love La Roux but I think after the album bombing she's only big enough for mid-afternoon on JP, sadly :(

Really? I'd be happy enough with that as she might avoid clashes then but I was thinking she'd be low-mid Other stage or high up in JP.

Playing pretty low second stage at Latitude so i'd imagine low JP or maybe even WH/Park

That would be interesting to see. Thee hype around Daft Punk would have the Pyramid field jam packed.

she's subbing the second stage (at the same level as Catfish & The Bottle Men and Django Django) so i imagine she'll be in top 4 JP. she may not be the name she once was commercially but at a festival i reckon she'll pull a decent crowd

Chems aren't confirmed for Sunday (Neil has just heard they are); they could be Saturday.

Not if they do what they seemed to do last year, i.e. put less-exciting headliners on the other stages against a divisive Pyramid headliner, to get the latter the biggest crowd possible. Not saying they necessarily will but if they did Chems wouldn't fit that. Edited by Zac Quinn

Yeah I'd say 4th down JP at the lowest. Looking at her tour from last year it's still reasonable venues, though I've got no idea how well it sold.

Ah right, I'm sure I've seen you say that before now I think about it. I still don't think she'll be as low as halfway down JP though.

You may end up being right. Who knows.

Going back to that last point though, I probably should have added that the only other gig I've seen at that venue recently was Clean Bandit, who did indeed play as high as up last year as you're suggesting Elly might this year ...the difference being, though, they sold it out. :(

Think la roux is awful but heard she's quality live?

She is, but if you dislike her music enough to describe it as pejoratively as that then I wouldn't bother, really.

(Sorry don't mean to bang on about her but realised nobody else answered this so might as well.)
