Such disappointing line-up this year when you consider some of the bands that COULD have played. Think it's the weakest I can remember in the past 10 years ?

Far too much R&B and pop music, is it not supposed to be a rock festival? Where are all the British bands that have hit the mainstream in the last 12 months ?

Must have been Emily Eavis' turn to pick the bands this year, she's certainly succeeding in turning the whole Festival into the Park Stage.

I will still have a great time regardless, just a bit annoying when you consider the quality of the 2013 & 2014 lineups.

No.

Paddy power doing odds;

Stone roses 6/4

Swift 7/4

Blur 5/1

Coldplay 6/1

Elton 6/1

Chemicals 7/1

Oasis 10/1

Radio head 12/1

McCartney 12/1

Florence 12/1

Madge 16/1

Rhianna 16/1

Muse 20/1

Adele 33/1

Love the fact Muse are on there even though they 100% cannot do it as we all know. Blur have to be worth a shot before the betting disappears again.

No it isn't supposed to be a rock festival.

Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts. There is a clue in the name.

Really thinking it must be Blur at this point. Tempting to bet on it even though I never bet on anything! Them or McCartney, otherwise it'd have been announced with the rest. Fleetwood Mac is possible but would require them to play three in a row, which they aren't doing anywhere else on tour. They're also not available to bet for on Paddy Power!

Unless Paddy have been made aware that Fleetwood Mac are headlining and purposely aren't listing them - knowing they they will make money on every bet they take on this?

It does seem strange that they're offering odds this late in the day, knowing that the word could theoretically be out any minute.

I presume he will have guest vocalists or singers from his own band filling in for the vocals?

Yeah he had a backing band called The Business Intl last tour with a few guest vocalists including Spank Rock, Andrew Wyatt, Rose Elinor Dougall and Alex Greenwald. Was pretty great.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
