"unlikely to be this month" was the exact wording we are asked to use.

I find that so amusing - if they'd just said "NOT going to be this month" we'd all just get on with our lives, but now we're still panicking JUST IN CASE something pops up

It's not about the third headliner for me and I suspect a lot of people it's about the lack of acts annouced so far in General.....also if they do have a crap headliner but the rest of the fest is quite strong surly that would help them out to release the info to calm people down?

For a lot of people t's abut the festival regardless who plays where. They will buy them whatever. For a lot of people it's about the music across all stages. There's always gonna be good music to everyone's taste somewhere, so they will buy them. The rest are in it for the big name headliners, they are the ones who won't buy regardless

for a second there i was outraged like 'not this month!? what!? but that's a whole month away!?' but then i realised we have less than a week left of March. i'll stick with April 2nd then

its still ages...AGES...this is worse than waiting for xmas when your child, hopefully this will be less disappointing than the great xmas dissappointment of '92, bike lights i got...

.bike lights ffs

Why is everyone April 2nd? Would the 1st make more sense?

why would it make more sense? i think everybody's thinking is that they wouldn't do it on April Fool's... which doesn't hold much ground really. I've just had the 2nd in my head for a while so i'm gonna stick with it. i'm in work until 9 that day too so it'd be typical

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.
    • Just listed on Twickets
    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
