Hello. First time poster so be gentle...

Can't see the Libertines headlining, but they'd be perfect for the unannounced opening slot on the Other. They can cram all the best bits of their back catalogue into a 45 minute set and would give them a relatively prestigious slot without much pressure or the issues of headlining the two biggest festivals in one year.

As for the actual headliners I'd be up for Foos - Blur - Kanye.

Bowies health has been relatively poor for 12 years.

I dont see why one act would make you go or not go to Glastonbury though. Its 2 hours from the 120 hours you would've been spending there.

Much to my amusement last year as I was watching a particularly wasted Howard Marks introduce Alabama 3 in the Glade, while a lot of my pals were stuck watching the Kaiser shites. God awful band.

My friend and I were sat in the food tent next to Arcadia (best breakfast in Glastonbury for my money), away from the rain. We heard a cheer when the banner went up, so my friend stood up to peer down the hill to see who it was, she was straining to make it out, I was badgering her "who is it? Lourde? Coldplay... Prince!?". When she realised she started laughing and just said "Wait for it", a few minutes later, I Predict A Riot started up. I was so glad to be inside with coffee and hash browns instead of outside with rain, disappointment and the Kaiser Chiefs (I bet those three things are often experienced all together).

The @secretglasto twitter feed spilled that it was The KC's, but there were clearly a lot of folk there who didn't have an inkling what was coming their way.

I was only there as it was on our way to see Turtle Island on the Pyramid Stage anyway and some of my group simply refused to countenance that it would be them.
