Wish I'd have gone in 2003.

Didnt go in 2003 or 2009.

Surprised so many people are voting for 2009.

Springsteen - meh, I would have gone somewhere else.

Neil Young - Fair enough, Ill give you that one, class.

Blur - Dull (Id have been at the other stage for the Prodigy if I was there)

Of those up there, like most people are saying, it's between 2003 and 2009 for me, probably leaning towards 2003. However in the end I voted for the final option, on the basis that 1997 had Radiohead, The Prodigy and Ash which would've been glorious (although tempered a little by Kid A not being out yet).

This year has potential, though, I must say (although I won't be at Kasabian, they're a lot better than Beyonce and Mumfords for the Sunday slot...).

Its a tough one for me if I base it on the premise that I would go to all 3. Id say its between the following

'95 - Oasis, Pulp, The Cure

'98 - Primal Scream, Blur, Pulp

'03 - R.E.M, Radiohead, Moby

The likes of Ash and Travis really fuck up some good years..............

'03 probably shades it. But just.

I understand the love for '09. Im just not into the Boss. Never have been and never will. Was there and was banjoed. Wanted to give him a shot and what better way then "a free trial" at Glasto? Well the drink got the better of me. Fell asleep (fell unconscious) in someones camp chair and woke up to some friends standing around me wanting to leave as they had had enough 30 mins or so in. I was not going to protest. Heard it got better in the end but I was not pushed...........

Even though wasn't there that year but 2009 from what I saw on tv etc sticks out as the best.

For years I have been then the only time I've watched 2 pyramid headliners in full is 2003 so would vote for that probably if it was one I was at

I think 2003 shades it overall for my favourite festival, but didn't see REM (Julian Cope - Acoustic) or Moby (Sigur Ros/Doves - Other). 2009 for Pyramid headliners all the way. Wasn't blown away by Brucie but the other two were great and only time I've seen all three headliners.

2007 should have been brilliant but the weather and the sound quality ruined it.

2009 was excellent although I did swerve Blur for whoever was on The Other Stage.

2004 should have been good too but Oasis were below par.

Last year was fantastic Friday and Saturday too, very strong shows them two. If anyone decent had been on the Sunday last year it would be pushing it.

09 - did'nt go (idiot!) though at the time I wasn't really bothered about Blur. I liked them but didn't own any CDs, I may have wandered off somewhere else but like to think I'd have watched them. That gig looked brilliant on TV though.

I love a bit of Bruce so would have been there for that and Young looked immense.

i'm not a Sprinsteen fan but in terms of having three unarguably deserving, respected, time-tested and huge acts at the top, it has to be 2009. nobody could argue that those three acts shouldn't have been there, which you can't say for a lot of other years (mostly due to a lot of them having a fairly new act who's ability to headline is brought into question)

Based purely on the acts (and not the performances in hindsight) I went with 2010, the only year out of these I would have gone to see all three without question. 2009 a close second, given I love Blur and the Boss, though I don't mind a bit of Neil Young and to say he certainly seemed to put on a good show would be an understatement.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
