Pretty sure the exclusive announcement last year about coverage wasn't on Zane's show? Correct me if I'm wrong. But, Zane's slot is none for being the festival announcement slot, so fingers crossed

Last year Zane's show started at 7 just as the lineup dropped so he reported the news 'as it happened' I don't think it was an exclusive. He did have an interview with the Rolling Stones if I remember correctly.

If I recall correctly, the line up dropped a minute or two before his show started, so he certainly didn't deliver the news or anything, more be one of the first to point out that the line up is out on the Glasto site. I seem to remember he span that as 'big news' or summit then and all.

It certainly makes sense to drop the line up at a time a music DJ with links to the festival can hype it up a bit and get people talking. I'd have thought it would have been either tomorrow (or today) or after the refund date and subsequent resale, personally, but then what do I know?

its pretty obviously going to be at some point on Tuesday 6th, weds 7th or Thurs 8th as those are working days in early May that are not a friday. I would suggest not the tuesday either as the day after a non working day.

obviously dont know if its true but thurs 8th at 7pm seems as reasonable a time as any.

It was certainly trailed last year as Zane Lowe having exclusive info in advance of last year's show, as I was standing in the kitchen specifically listening to Radio 1/Zane Lowe at 7pm with the wife - which is something I wouldn't have done otherwise. And I remember the opening notes of Satisfaction kicking off the show and that being the first I knew that the Stones were def headlining.
