I would like to see Pixies agiain though. I knew little about them at the time but had a free ticket and really enjoyed them.

Yeah that must have been it. I loved that festival but just can't cope very well with the heat any more unfortunately. The only thing missing from Glasto is a beach to have an all night party on!

If I was going then I'd be seeing Pixies. Never been bothered by Metallica.

I've seen Metallica, and while I would recommend it at least once to everyone I'm not that bothered by their music to see them again.

I am on holiday in Tunisia this week and had "And Justice For All " on the IPod yesterday by the pool. All of a sudden I realised how right this band will be for the Pyramid. Metallica all the way for me.

My partner wants Metallica if the clash happens.. I want Pixies so we might actually have to split off from each other if we don't reach an agreement hope Glastonbury organizers are happy causing domestics!

Saw the Pixies at the Isle of Wight festival a few years back and judging them on that performance there's not much of a clash for me between them and Metalica. But if it was a clash between the Pixies and either Little Mix or Justin Bieber the youngsters would win it by a mile.

When I have a clash and have seen one of the bands before I almost always see the other. So although I know more Pixies than Metallica the fact I have already seen them at a festival (Benicassim - I forget which year) means I will definitely be at the Pyramid on Saturday.

No, it's an obvious choice for me is what I meant, haha. Still haven't seen Pixies and would love to at some stage but Metallica on the Pyramid is too grand a novelty to pass up on.

Scuse the light ignorance, think metallica is an awful addition personally, however if so which stage is it likely? Again I don't see the appeal and wondered what the outcry for a big slot would be ya get me?

I would like to see Metallica, but Pixies are one of my all time favourites, and I haven't seen them for 9 years! Looking like a mad dash from Jack White to the Other Stage, which I hear is easier said than done!

I wouldn't worry about that, Metallica's set will be a lot longer than Pixies'. You'll probably have time to check something else out in that time

I will be at Pixies. Huge fan but never seen them.

I have no knowledge of Metallica but even so would love to have been there, for the occasion if nothing else.

Why does it have to cause a domestic? Surely you just see who you want to see and separate for an hour and a half or so? Would hate to spend my whole festival superglued to a partner!

Pixies have inspired a generation of musicians. Metallica are just a bit meh No clash for me I see the other stage being busy.
