What have you done today to get ready for Glasto?

I had a bit of a warm up and went to The Folkestone Airshow.

Had a burger, a hog roast, a couple of pints of cider, a doughnut and must have walked at least seven miles.

There were thousands of people there, the day started off as a monsoon and then became unbearably hot and stayed that way. Got sunburnt.

Great training for Glastonbury I thought.

Got my festival flag pole and lighting sorted.

- serviced the car so it can pass MOT and get us to glasto

- drove along M40 with Metallica on very loud

- picked up trolley from mr cambo's parents (they look after it for us)

- bought gin

Yesterday I got really drunk whilst watching some bands who will also be playing Glastonbury

Today: Woke up boiling hot, sweaty and a blinding hangover.

Think I prepped well.

Today is officially put the tent up in the garden and check the lines/poles/pegs etc day.

Bought a cracking LED Alarm Clock that has a illuminated night display { without touching it }

its the first one I have seen with such a clear display ' that takes batteries - 3 AAA '

I may start very late at night or dead early in the morning { could be 5am } so I wanted something that I could clearly see without having to press a button.

there was cheaper versions but they show every display under the sun- temperature - humidity - earth tilt angle - height above sea Level etc etc but the bloody clock is in a tiny display window - stuff that I want something where I can clearly see the time

I have ditched my old alarm as the bloody tick was a right wind up

That will be my last purchase for the festival season this year.

Been up to the loft to get all the festival gear down, it is now in a pile waiting.

Just got some travel johns online, and about to make my way to B and M to find some more bargains! I'm very very excited.

Always do it early because it gives time to chuck in anything you realise you've forgotten and it gets you right in the mood.

At a campsite in Dulverton, Exmoor - going through all the lockers & cupboards in our motorhome and working out what we need to buy / leave behind.... and making lots of lists! OH making a new water pump thingy to enable us to re-fill our tank once on site.

Quite an important thing...I ordered my train ticket! Hopping on a train at West Drayton just before 7. Changing at Reading at about half past and then should be at Castle Cary for 9ish! Ridiculously excited now

Today I dragged my tent and sleeping bag from their hideout. I also started looking at the line up properly. My initial suspicions that it was a poor line up have been shattered. Which is nice.
